Legal bases of processing
The processing of personal data requires a legal basis which we would like to introduce below.
For the processing of personal data for which we obtain a declaration of consent of the data subject, Art. 6 Par. 1 Lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as legal basis.
For the processing of personal data that is required for the fulfilment of a contract to which the data subject is a contractual party, Art. 6 Par. 1 Lit. b GDPR serves as legal basis. This shall also include processing operations that are necessary for the carrying out of pre-contractual measures.
To the extent that a processing of personal data is required for the fulfilment of a contractual obligation that our company is subject to, Art. 6 Par. 1 Lit. c GDPR serves as legal basis.
If the processing is necessary for maintaining a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party and if the interests, basic rights, and basic freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the aforementioned interest, Art. 6 Par. 1 Lit. f GDPR serves as legal basis for the processing. The legitimate interest of our company is the carrying out of our business activity as well as the analysis, optimisation and maintenance of the security of our online presence.
Log files, hosting
In the server statistics, such data are automatically stored that the browser transmits to us in the context of our legitimate interest of analysis and for security reasons (so-called “log files”).
These are, in particular, the following data:
- Language and version of the browser software
- Operating system used and its user interface
- Referrer URL (the page visited immediately prior)
- Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)
- Date and time of the server inquiry
- Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
- Content of the request (specific page)
- Volume of data transmitted
- Access status / HTTP status code.
These data typically cannot be attributed to a specific person. A merging of this data with other data sources is not being performed. In addition, the data are deleted within 7 days subsequent to a statistical analysis. Data that need to be stored longer for evidence purposes are exempted from deletion until final clarification of the respective incident.
We utilise hosting services. These serve for making available infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services, as well as technical maintenance services in order to maintain the operation of this online presence.
In this, we and/or our hosting provider process master data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communications data of customers, interested parties, and visitors of this online presence based on our legitimate interest in an efficient and secure provision of this online presence.
Contractual processing
Personal data made available by you for contractual purposes in case of e.g. requests for quotes, such as name, address, or e-mail address will only be used internally to respond to your enquiries or to provide you with certain contractual information.
Establishing contact
In case you establish contact with us via e-mail or via the contact form, we will store your information in order to answer your questions.
A passing on to Third Parties does, on principle, not take place, unless applicable data protection regulations justify a transmission or we are required to do so by law. You may, at any time, withdraw your consent, effective for the future. In case of withdrawal, your data will be deleted immediately, unless legal exceptions regarding further processing exist. Otherwise, your data will be deleted once we have processed your enquiry or the purpose of storage ceases to exist and no other legal exceptions to the contrary exist. You may request information about the data stored regarding your person at any time.
Cookies
This website is using cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and which provide the entity that set the cookie with certain information. They serve for making the Internet presence more user-friendly and more effective and/or to ease navigation of our website for you.
You can, of course, also use our website without accepting cookies. You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, reject the acceptance of third party cookies or all cookies, or delete cookies that were already stored. Please note that if you do not accept cookies, our presence might not work flawlessly in this case.
To find out which functions on our website are setting cookies, see the individual function below.
Passing-on of data to Third Parties
We provide data to third parties if this is necessary for fulfilment of a contract and/or if we are in individual cases legally obligated and/or entitled to do so.
In the context of our legitimate interests with respect to analysis, optimisation and economic operation of the online presence we are, in part, using external service providers. This presupposes that the third party providers of these contents realise the IP address of the user since the contents cannot be sent to their browsers without the IP address. As such, the IP address is required to display these contents. Third party providers may, furthermore, be utilising so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also referred to as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. Through the “pixel tags”, information such as visitor traffic to the pages of this website can be analysed. The pseudonymous information may, furthermore, be stored in cookies on the users’ device and may, among other things, contain technical information similar to the log files. Below, we are listing our service providers.
If your data are to be used for other purposes, we well first inform you and only use such data for which you have expressly declared your prior consent.
Rights of the data subject
You have a right to information regarding the stored personal data relating to you. In accordance with the legal provisions, you also have a right to rectification of incorrect data, blocking, data portability, and erasure of your personal data. For this, send us an e-mail with the subject “Privacy”.
You also have a right to file a complaint with a supervisory privacy authority if you consider a processing of personal data relating to you to be infringing on the statutory provisions.
If you have granted a consent, you have the right to withdraw said consent at any time. This shall not affect the legality of the processing performed based on the declaration of consent up until the withdrawal.
In accordance with the statutory provisions, you may object to the future processing of your personal data at any time. The objection may, in particular, be raised against the processing for purposes of direct marketing.
Storage duration of personal data
We store personal data for the duration of the respective statutory storage period and/or for as long as the purpose of collection exists. Subsequent to expiration of the storage period, a routine deletion of the data takes place unless a need for the preparation or performance of a contract exists. To the extent that the data of the user are not deleted because they are needed for other and legally permitted purposes, their processing will be restricted as much as possible. Accordingly, the data will be locked as much as possible and not be processed for other purposes. This applies, e.g. to data of the user that must be stored for reasons of commercial or tax law.
Safety Information
By taking all technical and organisational measures, we strive very much to process your personal data such that the regulations of the data protection laws are being complied with and to protect these data therewith. Our website and/or the communication with us via our website is encrypted via HTTPS.
