3D printing – the future of the automotive industry
When talking about 3D printing, many still think of the plastic printer from the media market for little money. But the technology is much further and is fundamentally changing Germany’s most important industry.
Not only recently, companies such as BMW, VW, Audi or Tesla have been producing prototypes for their vehicles in the additive manufacturing process – popularly 3D printing.
